Learning Beyond the School Day
O'Quinn Schools offer opportunities for students to learn beyond the typical school day. With options after school and during the summer, you can register your child for camps or supplements to expand their educational opportunities in a fun environment.
O’Quinn campers will blaze a trail through the summer while exploring the wonders around us! Camp begins on Monday, June 9, and ends Friday, August 1. The school will be open from 7 am to 6 pm each day of camp; all rising 3K, 4K, and 5K children enrolled at O’Quinn for the fall of 2025 as well as current O’Quinn 5K students attending Porter-Gaud for 1st grade are invited on our adventures. Summer Camp Open House is scheduled for Friday, June 6, between 2:30-3:30 pm.
Important Dates:
- Online Registration opens: Monday, April 7 at 8am
- Online Registration closes: Friday, April 17 at 6pm
- Summer Camp Drop in Open House: Friday, June 6 from 2pm to 3pm
- Summer Camp start date: June 9, 2025
- Summer Camp end date: August 1, 2025

Supplement Descriptions
Camp tuition is $450 per week. Payment for Weeks 1-3 will be due June 1 through Blackbaud Tuition; Weeks 4-7 are due July 1. Cancellations between the close of summer registration and June 1 will be billed at 50%; no refunds will be given for cancellations after June 1.
Camp will include PE and Music as well as an option for Weekly Supplement Classes at an additional cost. During registration, parents will have the opportunity to sign up and pay for supplement classes.
Week One: June 9 – June 13 |

Theme: Seashells & Sunshine Dive into a summer of fun and friends as we get to know our summer crew! Supplement: Miss Heidi’s Tumble Time - $100 Miss Heidi's Tumble Time is an exciting combination of gymnastics, coordination & basic body movement incorporated with rhymes & music. Children are taught gymnastics skills in a progression style on junior-sized Olympic-style equipment. Miss Heidi may be contacted at 843-324-7999. |
Week Two: June 16 – June 20 |
Theme: Buzzing into Adventure Bring your nets as we discover the creepy, crawly, and totally cool world of BUGS! Supplement: Stretch-n-Grow Superhero Fitness - $100 Explore obstacles and games in this fitness class! Get strong like your favorite SUPERHEROES! We will have boys and girls moving and grooving to get fit! Attire: Comfortable clothing requested. |
Week Three: June 23 – June 27 |
Theme: Campfires, Stars, and Nature’s Wonders Sleeping under the stars and stories around the fire! Our annual 4th of July Parade will be on June 27. Supplement: Wee Little Arts - $150 Wee Little Arts is Charleston’s premier visual arts program dedicated to engaging and empowering children by helping them discover the creative process. Our approach fosters creativity in students and encourages the development of critical thinking and fine motor skills. During these fun and exploratory camps, students will travel to different regions of the world and experience art in its many forms. This summer we will create a couple of different pieces using a variety of mediums that we typically wouldn’t have time for during the school year. Guaranteed FUN, EDUCATIONAL, and SUPER CREATIVE! Week Four: July 7 – July 11 |
Theme: Galaxy Explorers Blast-off on cosmic adventures as we zoom across the Milky Way to infinity and beyond! Supplement: Little Yoga Sprouts with Ms. Alice $140 Children derive many valuable benefits from yoga such as increased focus, self-confidence, and the ability to recognize and regulate their emotions. Our summer camp teaches your child about animals around the world while learning yoga postures to accompany them. Using music, stories, and yoga games, we will create an exciting and meaningful experience each day. A special memento will be sent home each day! Attire: Cool and comfortable clothing. Week Five: July 14 – July 18 |
Theme: Pirate Treasure Hunt Ahoy Mateys! Come swashbuckle your way through the week with eye patches, hooks, and exploring fun! Supplement: Stretch-n-Grow Disney Dance Party $100 DISNEY Dance Party Popular songs and choreography from Disney movies and more! It will be fun and exercise for boys and girls! Join in the fun. Attire: Comfortable clothing requested. |
Week Six: July 21 – 25 |
Theme: Water Wonders Let’s harvest fun on the farm as we create, discover, and of course, get WET! Supplement: Shining Stars Drama Camp $135 Shining Stars Theater is an exciting dramatic play program for young actors! We focus on building confidence, boosting communication skills, and fostering creativity. The camp classes will encourage teamwork, listening, sharing, and responding. Children will gain confidence in their bodies, voices, and emotions. Week Seven: July 28 – August 1 |
Theme: Dig in and Discover Gardening and Farm Life Sprouting beans and eating off the land. It will be a week of veggie eating and bread making! Supplement: Super Sports Power Play $100 It’s Super Sports Camp! Perfect for your active little athlete! Each day we will explore new sports and games incorporating our favorite summer themes like Beach Volleyball, Backyard Baseball, Gator Golf, Tumble in the Jungle, and more. We encourage a true love of sports in a fun, non-competitive, and developmentally appropriate way. Let’s play ball! Attire: Comfortable clothing and athletic shoes are best. |
