Service Academy Information SessionNovember 21, 2024 Dear Families, Although you are likely busy thinking about and planning for the holiday season, I wanted to let you know that we will hold our Service Academy Information Session on Wednesday, January 22 at 6:30 p.m. During the session, we will share details about the different service academies and their application processes, which are very different from traditional universities. Please note that because the application process for service academies begins during a student's 11th-grade year, students in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade who are considering applying to the service academies are encouraged to attend this information session with their families. Also, four of the service academies hold summer programs for rising 12th-grade students (current 11th graders) that provide them with an introduction to the student experience at that academy. Attendance is strongly encouraged by the academies. Admission to these summer programs is competitive, and their deadlines are coming up soon.
